WELCOME TO DIGITAL DOCUMENTATIONS !
Digital Documentations is a project rather than a company.
Its roots reach back to the early 1990s when I first came
in touch with the digital potentials in archaeology. In the
remote oasis of Siwa, at the fringe of civilisation in the
Western Desert of Egypt, I had the chance to take part in an
ambitious project, that successfully combined archaeological
needs with the capabilities of modern media.
Since then, participation in different projects enlarged my
knowledge, enabling me to offer professional support in all
relevant fields of archaeological recording, collection of
digital data, and graphical needs not only in archaeology but
also in other disciplines of the humanities.
Thourough experience in field-archaeology as well as in the
cooperation with international institutions, achieved at
many projects in different countries in the Mediterranean,
ensures that the processing of digital records is not
ending in itself. It will always match the individual needs
of each project with deploying the state of art of digital
applications.
Digital Documentations is committed to assisting you during
every stage of your planning process, and the service
ensures that your proposed project will neither encounter
time-consuming IT troubles nor will it face problems with
the processing and archiving of the data.
